New Issue: Port perl scripts in the testing system to python

This is a desire that comes up fairly often. However, I couldn’t find any issue open for it.

We are mostly using python in the testing system, but few fairly important scripts are implemented in perl:

  • nightly et al.
  • paratest.server
  • paratest.client

(whereas paratest.chapcs is implemented in Python)
