When our language specification was a PDF, we had a nice index which made it easy(er)
to find things when somebody had bothered to add entries for them, which we used to
be pretty good at. It seems that in its new online format, we don't have an index, which
makes it feel like we lost something that was valued/valuable, particularly when looking
for things that 'search' is not so good at findings (including things like symbolic operators
and short keywords which are also common English words, which Chapel has in spades.
It's not clear to me / I don't recall whether this was a known or intentional loss when we
converted the spec to its online format, or whether it slipped past without us knowing
(or whether we thought that search would obviate the need for or benefit of an index—
where I don't think it does).
